Copiso visits FIGAN 2025 fair to ‘advance’ livestock farming challenges

Copiso visits the international livestock fair FIGAN 2025, celebrated in Zaragoza from March 25 to 28, with a large delegation to learn about the latest technological advances and knowledge, necessary to meet the challenges of livestock production and industry. Livestock breeders, distributors, veterinarians, administrations, importers and technology companies will be present at this meeting, which is a benchmark for the Mediterranean arc of Europe. There are 987 exhibitors and more than 54,000 professionals visit them.

“Our goal is that FIGAN is not just an exhibition, but a space where opportunities, knowledge and added value are generated for exhibitors, visitors and, ultimately, for the entire agricultural sector,” says the director of the event, Fernando Cidraque. “It brings together all the technology that the livestock sector needs, from the most traditional machinery to the most innovative solutions for the farms of the future: digitalization, sensors, nutrition, integration, health and innovation,” he added.

For Carmen Yagüe, Copiso’s Director of Environment and Social Responsibility, this fair is “a great opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the livestock sector and exchange concerns and experiences with the different players who are part of this activity, essential and necessary to ensure quality food at affordable prices for the consumer”. He underlines that Copiso seeks excellence in production, from a firm commitment to sustainability and innovation: “That is why we visit FIGAN. We can move forward, learn and contribute”.

The role that circular livestock farming can play in the sustainable valorization of waste, by-products and energy. The food, regulatory, sustainability and animal welfare challenges of the pig sector are present in the different conferences, round tables and events of the fair, in an activity -livestock farming- that has to be profitable.
