Copiso will analyze the challenges facing cooperatives on December 3 at the Second Agri-Food Cooperatives Forum organized by Castilla y León Económica and Urcacyl. Strategies for attracting talent, digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence, innovation, and international markets will be among the topics discussed.
Pascual López, managing director of Copiso, will participate in the round table discussion “The challenges facing agri-food cooperatives” alongside Jesús Posadas, president of Acor, and César Reales, manager of Agropal, moderated by Alberto Cagigas, director of Castilla y León Económica.
The president of Urcacyl, Fernando Antúnez, will give the Forum’s keynote speech, entitled “International Year of Cooperatives, a key sector for Castilla y León.” A second round table will address the competitiveness of cooperatives. It will be attended by Jesús Ángel García, CEO of Garmon Ingeniería; Norberto Garrido, director of Business Development and Operations at Cobasa; and Óscar Raña, manager of Energy Efficiency at Repsol.
The “II Forum on Agri-Food Cooperatives as an Economic Driver for Castile and León” will be opened by Nicanor Santos, president of the Rural Savings Banks of Castile and León, and closed by the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development. The Forum will be held in Auditorium II of the Valladolid Fairgrounds, starting at 12:30 p.m.
