German students learn about Copiso’s circular economy model

Twenty-nine German students, who are participating in a one-week Erasmus exchange program with students from IES Castilla de Soria, visited the Copiso facilities in Valcorba. Since the educational project focuses on sustainability, they wanted to learn about the circular economy model of the agricultural cooperative.

The German students were informed about the sustainability actions and initiatives carried out by Copiso, specifically at the Valcorba industrial complex. These include the use of biomass with wood chips or photovoltaic energy, as well as the feed production process. They were also explained the cooperative model of Copiso and its agricultural and livestock activities, committed to the development of the rural environment and the environmental challenges of the primary sector.

The young Germans, who come from Querfurt, a city in the Saale district in southern Saxony-Anhalt, have visited various places in the capital and the province, such as the Castle Park of Soria, La Fuentona, and Calatañazor.
