Copiso has scheduled the 10 regional preparatory committees for 2026, to be held prior to the regular General Assembly on June 5. At these meetings, the 69 delegates who will represent the more than 1,370 members will be elected. This year, there is one additional delegate, representing the El Burgo de Osma area.
The representative areas are Ágreda (8 delegates), Almazán (10 representatives), Arcos-Vicarías (5), Berlanga de Duero (5), El Burgo de Osma (4), Gómara (8), La Sierra (7), Pinares-El Valle (5), San Esteban de Gormaz (9), and Soria (8). The number of delegates allocated to each region is proportional to the number of members in that area.
The series of these assemblies begins on May 4 in Gómara and Ágreda and concludes on the 14th in San Esteban de Gormaz. On the 5th, the meetings in Berlanga de Duero and Almazán will take place; on the 6th, the one in Soria; on the 7th, El Burgo de Osma; on the 11th, Arcos de Jalón-Vicarías; and on the 13th, those in La Sierra and Pinares-El Valle. At these preparatory meetings, the agenda for the general assembly is presented, delegates to attend the assembly are elected, and members have the opportunity to ask questions and offer suggestions regarding the cooperative’s activities. Additionally, the financial results for the 2025 fiscal year will be reported. This year, no officers need to be elected.
