Copiso has a storage capacity of around 250,000 tons, a very significant volume that allows the cooperative to meet the logistical needs of its activity.
The network of warehouses throughout the province totals over 80,000 tons. The warehouses at the Valcorba industrial complex have a capacity of 60,000 tons, and other facilities rented or shared with partners make up the remaining 25,000 tons.
The acquisition of the warehouses of the former Joaquín Gallego company in Almazán (10,000 tons) and the construction of a regional center in Rioseco (8,000 tons) are the latest actions taken by Copiso to expand its storage capacity.
Having sufficient logistics for its agricultural activity and feed production is a priority for the cooperative. The complexity of Copiso’s planning, which requires storing, distributing, and moving different inputs such as cereal, sunflowers, fertilizers, and other raw materials, demands a lot of storage space. The ultimate goal is to offer an efficient, convenient, and fast service to members and customers.
